Come join us for exciting virtual programming all summer long! #MyUSYfiSummer is open to all Jewish youth entering 5th grade through the Class of 2020.

#MyUSYfiSummer consists of two overall categories of programs: All-Access and Premium. To gain access to All-Access Programs, register on Regpacks by paying the $99 flat fee for six weeks of programming. All-Access Pass programming will be recorded for passholders who are unable to make it to a program but still want to participate. To gain access to Premium Classes, please read the description to find the separate program fee, and sign up on Regpacks.

Jewish Women Leading the Way in Sports

Join Coach Justine Siegel (As), writer Alyson Footer (MLB.com), Commissioner Jessica Berman (Lacrosse) and Annette Snow (Maccabi Ashdod) for a conversation of Jewish women in sports. The Great Rabbino (Rabbi Jeremy Fine) will lead the discussion with leading women in the sports world to discuss empowerment, involvement and the landscape of opportunities for young women.

Israel in an Hour: Talking Peace with Neil Lazarus

This new webinar is hosted by Neil Lazarus and a Palestinian in the West Bank. Both will discuss their thoughts on the possibility of peace between Israelis and Palestinians, the Trump Plan, the right of return, and more. Click here for a teaser! IsraAID

Israel’s leading humanitarian aid organization – IsraAID – invites you to an interactive workshop that puts teens in the driver’s seat during a unique disaster response simulation. Participants will experience the intensity of being an IsraAID first responder as they are faced with a deluge of unfolding challenges in a dynamic, ever-changing environment. Students will gain an overview of the sector-specific interventions that IsraAID uses in the field, including in the mental health, water, and medical fields; and the varied roles first responders assume. For teens in 7th grade through the Class of 2020 who interested in international development, Israeli contributions to the world, tikun olam, and/or disaster response, we invite you to engage with these themes firsthand through this stimulating simulation.

Ulpan Ivrit

Always wanted to know how to communicate with Israelis in the way they communicate – speaking Hebrew? Join us on this weekly Ulpan Ivrit Chug, where you will learn the most useful Hebrew that you need, in a fun and interactive way, from a Young Professional Israeli Hebrew teacher. Basics of reading are required, as well as committing to all six classes.

Krav Maga

StandStrong is a not-for-profit organization with the aim to empower our youth through self-defense. During these tough times, we are delivering our self-defense courses via live webinars. What makes our webinar experience unique is in addition to the lead instructor, we have other instructors watching on screens to provide real-time live feedback to help work on technique and improve form. Our courses provide a great fitness workout alongside our curriculum based on Krav Maga. This will keep you active and healthy whilst learning potentially life-saving skills.

Israeli Dancing

For grade 5-class of 2020: Join us for a weekly session of the best sport for the summer. We will learn and dance some of the all-time favorite (and some less known/favorite to-be) Israeli dances! You can join on any week you want, but note that every week will get more advanced.

The Old City of Jerusalem – Theatrical Tour

Join USYers in Grades 9-Class of 2020 as we tour Jerusalem and meet various characters from different periods of time who lived in the neighborhood, each with their unique story.

From King David to King Herod: How the Small City of David Grew Through the 1st Millennium BCE and Dazzled the Roman Empire

Watch the modest Canaanite city of Jerusalem grow and expand before your eyes through aerial shots, underground tunnels, and video models reconstructing the ancient city. Understand the most important and contentious findings in Biblical archaeology as we bring to life some of the most famous moments in Jerusalem’s biblical history. Marvel at the greatest technological and architectural achievements of ancient Jerusalem from Solomon to Hezekiah to Herod and more! This program is for USYers in Grade 9-Class of 2020.

Tel Aviv: The Birth and Growth of the First Hebrew City

Though Jerusalem is the eternal Jewish capital, Tel Aviv is the first Jewish city from its inception to today. This tour looks at the stories of the people who left their mark on the city and the stunning architecture that reflects the values of Israel’s cultural capital.

Middle East Unmasked

Led by Neil Lazarus, this webinar will provide an in-depth analysis of the week’s news in Israel and the Middle East. Expect to discuss topics such as the current administration’s “deal of the century”, the threat from Iran, ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, the crisis in Syria and Egypt, Lebanon, the future of territories, and the tensions within the Israeli Government. This webinar is for USYers in grades 9-Class of 2020 and will be fun and interactive!
