Welcome to the USY Grants webpage, your gateway to innovative and impactful programming for Jewish teens across North America. For the 2024-2025 year, USY is excited to offer three distinct types of grants designed to support and enhance the programming efforts of chapters nationwide: STEP Grants, LEAP Grants, and HOST Grants.
STEP (Synagogue Teen Enhanced Programming) Grants offer microgrants of $180 to enhance chapter programming. With a shorter application process, these grants are available on a rolling basis throughout the year and require minimal post-event reporting.
LEAP (Local Engagement and Partnership) Grants provide up to $1,800 to chapters for innovative new programs, ongoing initiatives, or staff support. These grants are available in two rounds—Fall/Winter and Spring—with strict deadlines and require thorough program evaluation and data reporting.
HOST (Hosting of Synagogue Teens) Grants provide financial support for chapters hosting overnight programming, with funding amounts varying based on the length and scale of the event. These grants help facilitate everything from lock-ins to multi-day conventions, requiring registration and a participant list to ensure a successful event.
Explore the options available and find the perfect grant to bring your chapter’s vision to life.
