Shabbaton

February 6-8, 2026, in Vancouver, Canada

Join us for an unforgettable weekend in the Pacific Northwest! Sing your heart out with Ruach sessions, participate in a tikkun olam project, and experience the spirit of Shabbat like never before. Whether it’s your first convention or your tenth, there’s always something new and exciting at Shabbaton!

The USY convention was amazing. My parents are quite secular, and we live outside of a Jewish community, so I’ve always wished I was closer to Judaism. USY helps with that. I loved the community there. Everyone was nice, even people I had never met before. I made so many new friends and had a lot of fun.

As someone who goes to Jewish sleep-away camp, I spend the entire year trying to find that magic of a young Jewish community elsewhere, and USY has done exactly that. The experience this past weekend was truly out of this world, and one that I will always remember. I made so many new friends, reconnected with old ones, and had a sense of belonging which is extremely difficult with the current rise of antisemitism. I would definitely recommend USY to any eligible Jewish teen.

I loved coming to the USY convention this year and last year. It is such a fun and engaging experience where I can truly connect with other people just like me and make connections that I wouldn’t find anywhere else.

All USYers in grades 9-12 are invited to the Spring Shabbaton! Whether you take a bus or a plane to get here, you’re an essential part of our weekend community once you arrive.

Experience Shabbat Like Never Before

With teen-led davening (prayer) all weekend long, you’ll experience the spiritual power of Shabbat with the passion only teens can bring. Renew and deepen your connection with your Jewish identity through unforgettable prayer experiences.

Like all USY conventions, we are tech-free during Shabbat (Friday evening to Saturday evening), meaning you have the rare opportunity focus on connecting, learning, and transforming without the distractions of family, school, or the outside world.

Facilitated by Adults Who Get You

Every USY experience is led by awesome adults with years of experience working with Jewish teens – and most of them are USY Alumni. Our staff are devoted to creating a truly unique and transformative experience for all USYers to be welcomed, be authentic, and find community.

Shabbat is For Everyone

USY is committed to inclusive practices so all of our USYers can participate. Please reach out to Jennifer Fisher at [email protected] if you have any questions.

We also offer scholarships to make USY Immersive Experiences affordable and accessible for all USYers. Scholarship applications are due at the end of Early Bird pricing.
