USY AlumNets

Organize a special Hannah Weiss z”l Mitzvah Month AlumNet volunteer event in May or June and receive extra Alumni microgrant funding. Organize a volunteer project, for at least five participants, and receive $100 to run the event plus operational costs. A great chance to honor Hannah’s memory and do a mitzvah! Apply to run a Mitzvah Month AlumNet at usy.org/alumnetapplication.

Our USY AlumNet microgrant initiative is a way to create active networks of USY alumni who share the same interests and passions. A USY AlumNet is an activity or special interest group, helping our USY alumni connections grow and thrive!

USY Alumni is offering microcgrants to run your own AlumNet (affinity group)! Help expand our alumni network by running an AlumNet One-Shot (one event) or an AlumNet Series (3 events).

AlumNet events have included: Game Nights, Shabbat Meals, Trivia Bar Nights, Family Hikes, Wine and Cheese get-together, Holiday Meals, Book Clubs, and more! It’s all up to you! Apply now to be an AlumNet Captain to run an event of your choice!

Microgrants up to $150 are available for AlumNet One-Shot Captains and up to $500 for AlumNet Series Captains to help run their event. Each Captain will be required to run activities with at least 6 USY alumni.
