From the President
As teens, we are a youth organization. As citizens, we are committed to bettering our communities. As students, we strive to enhance our understanding of the world around us. As leaders, we work to seize opportunity. As advocates, we stand up for what we believe in. As friends, we build a family. As Conservative Jews, we commit ourselves to the Jewish future.
We have rallied against gun violence and we have reached out to children with special needs and developmental disabilities. We have celebrated together and we have volunteered together. We have explored the wonders of Israel and we have witnessed the tragedies of Auschwitz.
There is so much that we have accomplished, yet there is much left for us to do. Our organization has influenced our development as young adults in so many ways, igniting a fire within that has fueled our desires to have a positive impact on our surroundings.
Abraham Lincoln once said, “The best way to predict the future is to create it.” Together, we can accomplish our goals, broaden our reach, and deliver exciting and engaging programming. Together, we can inspire Jewish teens around North America and across the world. Together, we can make our dreams a reality. Together, we can create our future!
So who are we? We are here and we are now. We are United Synagogue Youth.
