The Mega Mitzvah Challenge (MMC) gives you a chance to receive recognition for SAVING THE WORLD by earning Mitzvah Points for your region! The region with the most MMC points per capita at the end of each year will be awarded Walter, the SA/TO Potato Head at International Convention.

Right now, you’re probably thinking, “I really want to know how to earn Mitzvah Points for my region!” so read below and find out!

Regions* can earn points:

  • Regional Collection (i.e. Toiletries, Food) (10 points)
  • Social Action Program at Regional Event (15 points)
  • SA/TO Day (25 points)
  • SA/TO Kinnus (35 points + 10 points per program)
*Sub-Regional and Divisional points are the same

Chapters can earn points for their region by:

  • Chapter Collection (i.e. Toiletries, Food) (5 points)
  • Chapter Social Action Events (10 points)
  • SA/TO Day (25 points)

Individuals can earn points for the region by:

  • 613 Members (1 point)
  • UDAFE Members (1 point)

Regional and chapter point notices can be emailed to MMC@usy.org and should include your name, region, date, and a short description. Individual points will be recorded by sign-up records.

We can’t wait to see the differences you’re making in the world!

If you have any questions about the MMC, don’t hesitate to contact Missy Mandell, USY International Social Action/Tikun Olam Vice President.
