E11: Yad Leyeled/Ghetto Fighters House
Yad Layeled is an educational museum in honor of the children that were in the Holocaust, Yad Layeled, is located in the house of a ghetto fighter - the museum of the Holocaust and Resistance in the Galilee (that's in Israel :)). In addition to having a memorial, the children's museum helps today's youth learn about the Holocaust through an experiential approach.

For the last couple of years, Yad Layeled has been a part of an Int'l Book-Sharing Project. Through this program they are able to spread their message from Israel to high school youth in North America. The project provides a book entitled "Night" and sets the North American students up with Israeli partners who they dialogue with and keep journals for themselves. In order to extend this project to more High Schools they need sponsorships. The cost of a sponsorship is $1500.

If you feel like your chapter would like to be a part of this amazing opportunity, you can allocate you T.O. funds to Yad Layeled and get your local high school sponsored. This is a great way to build connections with Israel and further our knowledge of the Holocaust.
