Allocations Awareness

E5: Tzofim
The Tzofim also known as the Israeli Scouts are the only youth movement in Israel that is non-partisan and non-sectarian. One of their premier goals is to strengthen the bonds between Israeli and North American youth. A familiar program to many USYers which they run in the Tzofim Friendship Caravan, which visits a number of the USY summer trips each summer. The money in which USY allocates to the Tzofim is used towards sponsoring destitute Ethiopian Israelis so that they can join the Tzofim.

If you're concerned with building the bonds between North American and Israeli youth this is most definitely the organization for you. It is also great if you want to support Israel and also want to help the assimilation process of Ethiopians into Israeli society.
