Allocations Awareness

E8: Rabbanit Bracha Kapach
The Rabbanit (Rabbi's Wife) takes care of hundreds of people throughout the Nachalat Shiva neighborhood of Jerusalem, as well as several other neighborhoods. She provides wedding dresses for brides who cannot afford their own, summer camping for kids and Shabbat provisions for poor families. USY funds are directed to the Rabanit's yearly Passover food program, which puts food on the table for more than 2,000 Jewish families who otherwise would not be able to observe this mitzvah.

Many USY Pilgrimage trips visit the Rabbanit to help her with her work. Chances are, if you know someone who went on Pilgrimage, you know someone who was lucky enough to work with the Rabbanit. The Rabbanit is a truly wonderful example of one person making a real difference in the world.

If you believe in SA/TO work with personal interaction or are inspired by the good that one person can do, consider allocating your chapter TO funds to the Rabbanit.
