Allocations Awareness

D6: HAMAIL
Doobie is a dog, a best friend and a lifesaver! But now he needs our help.

Humans and Animals in Mutual Assistance – Israel (HAMAIL) is an organization dedicated to the use of animals in assisting with therapy, education, and activities, all of which aim to enhance the quality of life in both humans and animals alike. This unique linkage between human and animal welfare makes HAMAIL one of the most respected social agencies throughout Israel.

Doobie is the canine co-therapist of HAMAIL and while he has been working to change people's lives he has come across several problems of his own and he needs USY's help. Doobie has recently been diagnosed with a serious heart problem and needs special medications and a special diet.

It is our time to give back to this dog who has changed so many people's lives over the course of the years. SO if you are that USYer who wants to support animal life and their coexistence with humans HAMAIL is the organization for you. Also if you are the type of person who takes an interest in alternative therapy this is an ideal organization for you. And of course if you want to help support Israel, HAMAIL does that as well.
