Allocations Awareness

D5: Haifa Center for Children with Learning Disabilities
The Haifa Center for Children with Learning Disabilities was the first in a number of unique caring environments to answer the need for them. The Center serves over 3,000 families with most of the children coming from large families in the lower socio-economic strata. The Center has programs, including the following: Programs for Learning Disabled Youngsters, Early Childhood Rehabilitative Day Care Center, Family Counseling Center, Treating Trauma Victims, Mo'adonit (after school program for immigrant youngsters), Snoezelen Room Therapy, Pet Therapy, Free Loan of Physio-therapeutic Equipment for Toddlers thru Teens, Regional Seminars for Educators and Social Service Professionals, and Community Outreach Programs.

If you're concerned in providing care for children in Israel with a variety of learning disabilities at multiple ages, you should look further into The Haifa Center for Children with Learning Disabilities. It could end up being one of the organizations that your chapter decides to allocate some of the money it's raised this past year.
