The Bikur Cholim (BC) Hospital – the only hospital in downtown Jerusalem – provides all modern medical needs to its patients. It offers departments of ophthalmology, ear, nose, and throat, and general surgery as well as having clinical laboratories and outpatient clinics.

The funds which USY allocates to the BC Hospital go towards buying specialized equipment needed by the hospital. The BC Hospital this year had requested a cardiac halter for their Cardiology Department. This machine would help them to lessen the time that patients need to wait for the services of the hospital and also help to accommodate the heavy load of new patients.
