Heschel Day at JTS (In the Footsteps of Heschel) a huge success!

Highlights of the day included:

  • An introduction to the ideas and life of Abraham Joshua Heschel by Rabbi Danny Nevins, Dean of the JTS Rabbinical School
  • “Speedating” style learning with JTS Rabbinical School students/USY Alumni and JTS Rabbinical School Director of Admissions, Rabbi David Levy
  • a tour of JTS and the Columbia Campus by a List College* student
  • packing toiletry bags for the homeless community of Morningside Heights
