Senior Programming

What:
Planning special events and doing exclusive programming for graduating USYers.

Why:
To keep the seniors excited and active in USY for their final year. Seniors are an important part of USY's membership and the leaders in regions and chapters.

When:
Anytime!

How:
As usual, here are some ideas...

Regional General Board Senior Programming Position:
The Senior Programmer will create programs within existing regional events to help keep the seniors connected to USY and their class.

Senior moments at conventions:
An opportunity for seniors to reminisce about "the old days" in USY.

Senior USYers listserve:
To allow discussion amongst the seniors about the Regional programming, their years of USY in review, and other things.

Grad section in the regional yearbook:
Seniors will have the opportunity to bring in pictures from past years and make a collage and other stuff to add to the yearbook.

Senior Farewell Weekend:
A weekend after Regional Convention in the spring should be set aside for seniors to get together for one last Shabbat to say goodbye.

Senior Regalia:
Or even just something cool to give to all the seniors at conventions, like crazy plastic toys or ugly hats.

Seniors Photo Collage:
At convention, the seniors can get together, bring photos and make a collage of pictures. The collage can be published in the yearbook and framed in the regional office as tribute to each graduating class.
