USY Israel Challenge

New Frontier - Regional Challenges:

  1. Famous Israeli Briefs
USYers from the region will write brief summaries (2-5 paragraphs) on the lives of their favorite famous Israelis. Up to three (3) briefs may be done artistically through collages or photo-books (with captions) that help summarize this person's life. Regions will be responsible for creating eight (8) briefs (all on different people). They may be submitted on any date but at least one must be submitted a month. Any USYer may do up to three (3) briefs. Extras will be awarded additional Shekalim.
  2. Israeli Cookbook Challenge
Regions will compile a book of Israeli recipes. Each page must list detailed instructions on how to make the food item. Regions must submit at least ten (10) pages for their cookbook. No USYer may complete more than two (2) pages. Extra Shekalim will be given for creativity and/or extra pages. It is also suggested to auction off for Tikkun Olam.

If you have questions about any of these challenges or need more suggestions, email Aaron Jacobs, Israel Challenge Chair.
