USY Israel Challenge

METNY - Regional Challenges:

1. Israel-themed Divrei Torah
   This challenge calls for USYers to write Divrei Torah and connect the Parasha to the land of Israel. They can do this by connecting details in the Parasha to the physical land, places in Israel, similar events in Israeli history … anything. Divrei Torah must be submitted before the Parasha has passed. The region will be required to write five (5) Divrei Torah. No more than two (2) may be written by one USYer. Extras will be awarded additional Shekalim.
2. Israel Political Cartoon Challenge
   USYers will create their own Israeli Political cartoons. Four (4) different cartoons must be created during the year although they may be on the same topic or event. The cartoons must be originally drawn and written. No one USYer may create more than one (1) cartoon. They may be submitted at any time during the Israel Challenge.
