USY Israel Challenge

Hanegev - Regional Challenges:

1. Israeli Song Rewrite Challenge
   USYers will pick their favorite songs and rewrite the words with new lyrics having to do with Israel! Regions will compile ten (10) songs. Songs must have at least two (2) stanzas and a chorus. Songs may be submitted at any time. No USYer may write more than two (2) songs. Original songs will be awarded extra Shekalim. The most creative songs will be awarded extra Shekalim. Extra songs will be awarded additional Shekalim.
2. New Israeli Flag Designs
   This challenge will require USYers to design a new flag for the State of Israel. They may be any size and done with any type of art materials (color pencils, markers, paint, pastels, etc.). USYers must also write a brief description explaining why the flag was designed as it was. At least 25 flags must be designed. No more than three (3) may be done by one USYer. Extra Shekalim will be awarded for creativity and beauty. Extras will be awarded additional Shekalim. The Israel Challenge Chair will set a due date.
