Famous Moments/Israeli History Briefs
USYers from the region will write brief summaries (2-4 paragraphs) on famous moments in Israeli History. Regions will be responsible for writing eight (8) briefs (all on different events). They may be submitted on any date but at least one must be submitted a month. Any USYer may do up to three (3) briefs. Extras will be awarded additional Shekalim. For suggestions on events to write about, check with the IA IGB or USY IA VP.
Poem Israel Challenge
Regions must submit ten (10) poems about Israel. Poems can be of any form of poetry. No USYer may complete more than two (2) poems. Extra poems may be submitted for more Shekalim. Extra Shekalim will be awarded for creativity.
If you have questions about any of these challenges or need more suggestions, email
