Iran is developing nuclear weapons illegally.
Iran threatens the United States.
Iran threatens Israel.

What United Synagogue Youth is doing about it:

  • Educating our fellow USYers about the threat that Iran poses to Israel, the United States, and the world community.
  • Circulating a petition urging the United States government to do everything in its power to oppose Iran’s nuclear weapons pursuit and demanding its referral to the UN Security Council.
  • Reaching out and educating our communities by writing articles for our local and school newspapers.
  • Lobbying our senators and local representatives.

Iran’s development of Nuclear Weapons is a serious issue and WE must take action! You must be aware of Iran’s threats to the United States and Israel. On this website you will find a PowerPoint presentation about how you can help take a stand for Israel and a resource kit with information about Iran and nuclear weapons. You will also see the “Block the Bomb” Campaign Petition, which you can print off and take around your community to push Iran to halt their development of Nuclear Weapons. Here are three easy steps to start you off:

Step 1. Educate yourself. Be aware of what is going on. All the information you need is in the “Block the Bomb” Campaign or PowerPoint Presentation on this website.
Step 2. Sign the petition supporting the “Block the Bomb” campaign and distribute it across your community, school, USY Chapter and USY region.
Step 3. Educate others. Print off copies of the petition to give to friends and family members. Tell them about this link so they too can take a stand for Israel. Let everyone know that Iran has threatened Israel and the United States and must be stopped!

We cannot sit back while the President of Iran continues to make comments about the “The Holocaust being a myth” or that “Israel must be wiped off the map.” USY, take a stand! THE TIME IS NOW!
