The following are a number of sites dedicated to disseminating information about the proper use of HTML and other web-enhancing tools.

Beginners Guides

Advanced Topics

Article Sites
These are sites with a large number of web-oriented articles. Some are advanced, some are more oriented towards beginners, and they cover topics from HTML to visual design to backend to usability. They have too many fantastic ones to link to, so we will just point you to the sites themselves:

  • Evolt - Workers of the Web, evolt! A community website for web developers.
  • A List Apart - For people who make websites; a pro-standards website with weekly features.
  • Alertbox - Jacob Neilson's website ("Current Issues in Web Usability"); biweekly articles since 1995.
  • DevShed - Has a bunch of HTML and related tutorials.
  • W3Schools - Has many beginner tutorials for technologies such as ASP, HTML, and the such.
