Communications VP
Handbook*

Shalom! Welcome to the on-line version of the USY Communications VP Handbook. To request a complete, paper version of this handbook, e-mail youth@uscj.org.

The Communications Vice President is one of the most essential jobs in all of USY. With the recent explosion of the Internet and the advancement of desktop publishing, so many new and exciting aspects of the job have opened. The Communications VP holds a chapter or region together by spreading the messages of Tikun Olam and Torah and encouraging members to support Israel and join USY. Without communication, USY boards and staff could not work together and members would never receive flyers about events that could never happen!

This guide was designed as an introduction and overview to the many responsibilities of the USY Communications Vice President and as a resource to be consulted when working on specific Communications projects.

This handbook covers the following topics:

*Written by John Davis, 1997 USY Communications VP.
