The group had an amazing time taking pictures and getting the grand tour of the place. Later, the group had an Iron Chef program. They were given random ingredients to turn into a meal and it proved to be the best dinner they’ve had all summer! Great job, Bus C!

Bus A began their day with shacharit and they continued their learning of the Amidah blessings.. Through their travel from Albuquerque to Amarillo, they stopped at Cadillac Ranch, an awesome site on Route 66 where old Cadillac’s are buried into the ground and covered in decades worth of spray paint. The Wheelniks had to opportunity to make their mark on the cars as well.  They also had the opportunity to tour the awesome RV Museum. In the evening, the group went to the Texas Show. It’s a very fun musical show about Texas’ history and the settlers in the 1800s. Everyone had a lot of fun there and look forward to tomorrow!

This morning, Bus B had the pleasure of waking up to the beautiful Yellowstone National Park. They davened shacharit and were able to connect their prayers to things in nature they are thankful for by capturing it in a photograph. After that, they spent the afternoon visiting Old Faithful, the Canyons in Yellowstone, and finally, an optional nature walk. Then, they ate a delicious dinner and had an evening program where they read stories and talked about how they can bring the things they’ve learned this summer home with them. On top of an already amazing day and night, they concluded the evening by stargazing and being amazed at the nature that surrounded them.

This morning, Bus E began their day with a creative shacharit. Then, they packed up their lunches, ate breakfast, and loaded the bus! Because their summer is coming to an end, they cleaned through the bus and were able to make donations with their leftover supplies. After that, they headed to  the Mets VS. Nationals baseball game!  When that was over, they went right to bed to prepare for their last full day of Wheels tomorrow.

Today was a busy day for Bus E! First, they went to the Newseum, an interactive museum of news and journalism. After that, they had a beautiful lunch at Lafayette Square Park. Then, they went to Mongromery Mall for some free time before going to the supermarket to shop for Shabbat! They returned to their hotel after that, to prepare for their final Shabbat together. It was undoubtedly filled with meaningful davening, singing, ruach, bonding, relaxing and lots of fun! An extra bonus to this day is having a night time tour of the monuments. Awesome! Shabbat Shalom!
