Fall Semester, Ulpan/Community Service Option

Students who choose to take the Ulpan/Community service option will experience intensive Hebrew studies in an Ulpan setting five days a week for 3-4 hours a day. The focus of this track is to bring your Hebrew language abilities to new and higher levels by participating in a intensive Ulpan experience.

However, learning Hebrew cannot be done only in a classroom. The afternoons will be devoted to community service in a variety of places in and around Jerusalem where students will have the opportunity to practice their Hebrew while giving back to the community they are living in. The Ulpan studies will take place in a city where the Nativ students will learn Hebrew together with Olim (new immigrants) who have recently moved to Israel and are improving their Hebrew Language skills as well.
