Philadelphia:
Administered by the federation scholarships are need based. The maximum scholarship is $2,000, but no more
than half of the program expense. Amounts are awarded based on financial need of the individual according
to a set formula. Philadelphia offers a separate need based scholarship for students doing yeshiva and
seminary programs. There are no set deadlines for scholarships, they are given out on a rolling basis.
Philadelphia also offers a Passport to Israel program and participants may also apply for additional need
