Summer in the City

Sunday, July 10th :
Sunday the group left Ventnor in the morning and spent the day at Six Flags Great Adventure, which was tremendous fun, between the drive-thru animal safari (lions, tigers and bears, oh my!), and all the roller coasters.

    

Tuesday, July 12th :
Tonight the group headed to Lincoln Center and attended "Midsummer Night Swing", where they learned how to swing dance outside on the promenade.  The fun night concluded with some great dessert at Cafe Mozart, and the famous "Mozart wig". 

    

    

    



    

Wednesday, July 13th :
Today the group had their third visit to the Jewish Home & Hospital, where half of the group put on a play and sang show tunes for the residents, while others did room visits.  They all sense what an important mitzvah they are performing by bringing smiles to the residents' faces. 

Thursday, July 14th :
On Thursday the group met with Reina Cohen, director of admissions at List College, the JTS joint program with Columbia and Barnard.  In the evening they were joined for dinner by Jules Gutin, Director of USY, who met with the group and shared his infinite wisdom.
