USY on Wheels,
Bus H
Tuesday, June 21st:
ORIENTATION
*Loading the Bus*
*Eating at Ken's Diner*

*Learning to Mitzvah Clown*

Wednesday, June 22nd:
Bus H left Chicago and made their way to St. Louis. They
arrived downtown and went up to the top of the Gateway Arch. Then they
went to their host synagogue for dinner. After dinner, they had time to
relax and go bowling. For an extra special treat, they went to Ted Drew's
frozen custard place for dinner before staying at homes in the Jewish Community
for the night.

Thursday, June 23rd:
Mission Mitzvah continued south to Memphis, Tennessee. They
visited the famous National Civil Rights Museum and took a trolley ride
around Memphis. They met local members of the Jewish community at Temple
Beth Shalom with a lavish barbeque. After dinner the group saved themselves
lots of time and went Shabbat shopping.
Friday, June 24th:
Mission Mitzvah crammed
a lot of sights in before Shabbat. They visited Graceland, Elvis Presley's
home, and then went to the Memphis Jewish Home where they entertained residents
by singing, "mitzvah clowning," (which they learned how to do
Tuesday night of orientation night) and helped with Shabbat services. After
this beautiful Mitzvah the group went to the Underground Railroad museum.
Now they are getting ready for a relaxing and exciting Shabbat.
