Kadima! Movin’ and Improvin’

The word Kadima translates to "onward" or "forward!" This monthly set of web links will include ideas and suggestions for improving Kadima programming in your regions. This is to be shared via the listserv, so please be sure to add any suggestions, comments and questions.

Midah of the Month

Teaching our youth to be their best Jewish selves

“And you shall teach them diligently to your children, when you sit in your house, when you walk along the way, when you lay down and when you rise up” – Shema

What is a midah? A midah is a Jewish character trait on which we aim to base our behavior and choices.

The Midah of the Month series was created to encourage mensch-like living among Kadimaniks who face character-building choices each day. By internalizing Jewish values, our youth learn to live as Jews 24/7, and carry Jewish values with them whenever and wherever they may be.
