Sunday, July 17th
This morning Bus G woke up an davened shacharit. During shacharit the wheelniks had time to write their own tfilat haderech (traveler’s prayer) ahead of their trip. The group then boarded the flight to Alaska. When they arrived in Anchorage they checked into their hotel and took a nap. The group then played some bonding games, at dinner and had a mash-up music evening program where they combined contemporary music with traditional Shabbat songs.
Sunday, July 17th
Today Bus H spent the day in San Diego. In the morning the Bus volunteered at the LGBT festival. Later, Bus H visited the world famous San Diego Zoo and had lots of fun walking around and seeing all sorts of interesting animals from around the world. Next the group drove to La Jolla Cove where they had free time and dinner on the beach with some of the other Wheels buses. Finally, the wheelniks finished their day by visiting Seaport Village where they had free time to browse the shops.
Sunday, July 17th
After a great Shabbat, Bus E went out to see the new Harry Potter film on Saturday evening. Today the group woke up and had a creative yoga shacharit with a special guest from the USY office, Amy Dorsch. The group then boarded a ferry to Little Talbot Island State park where they toured the park and had a delicious lunch. The wheelniks then volunteered by helping clean up the beach. In the evening they travelled to the Jacksonville Jewish Center where they had a pool party, played basketball and had a dine-in movie night.
Sunday, July 17th
Today Bus D spent the day in San Diego. In the morning the group visited Seaport Village where they had free time to browse the shops. Then the group did a program on Jewish values and the Israel Defense Forces. Later, Bus D visited the world famous San Diego Zoo and had lots of fun walking around and seeing all sorts of interesting animals from around the world. Next the group drove to La Jolla Cove where they had free time and dinner on the beach with some of the other Wheels busses.
Sunday, July 17th
This morning Bus C woke up extra early and headed into San Francisco. Once in the city, they spent the morning and early afternoon volunteering at the San Francisco AIDS Walk. The wheelniks were happy to help out a good cause and were overjoyed when they learned that today’s walk helped raise over 3 million dollars. The group then made the long drive to LA. On the way they watched a movie and stopped off for dinner before checking into their hotel late this evening.

Today Bus A drove from Phoenix to San Diego. When they arrived the visited the San Diego Zoo and had lots of fun walking around and seeing all sorts of interesting animals from around the world. Next the group drove to the beach where they had free time to hang out. In the evening the wheelniks checked into their hotel and headed to bed.
Sunday, July 17th
After a fun and relaxing free weekend, the group headed south for the week. Their first stop was at the Alpaca Ranch- The Alpaca Farm is the only farm in the world where over 400 exotic alpacas & llamas are raised and where the entire process of growing and spinning them can be observed. Then they headed to Eilat, the most southern tip of Israel.
